Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Work with team members to identify and address potential safety hazards related to tool use.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to test functionality and safety of repaired items.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on proper tool usage and maintenance practices.
- Stay updated on the latest tool technologies and repair techniques.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in tool repair or maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Familiarity with electric and pneumatic tools and their repair techniques.
