Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues in vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
- Inspect vehicles for potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance services performed.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in diesel-powered vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults in diesel engines and equipment.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Knowledge of HVAC Systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
