Field Sales Representative – Cork & Kerry
Overview
We’re looking for a highly motivated, target-driven Field Sales Representative to grow our business across Cork and Kerry. This new role is ideal for someone proactive, organised, and skilled at building strong relationships with construction professionals, self-builders and trade customers.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve agreed weekly sales targets (commission payable on all sales above target).
- Proactively build and manage a future sales pipeline, including researching upcoming projects (e.g. via CIS).
- Focus on direct-to-site opportunities.
- Develop relationships with:
- Self-build owners
- Builders
- Farm-shed contractors
- Log cabin companies
- Landscaping companies
- Garden centres
- Complete an agreed number of on-site visits per day and productive phone calls per day.
- Grow customer networks and add a minimum number of new customers weekly to the CRM.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers in Cork and Kerry.
- Regularly contact and engage with key accounts to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Provide expert product advice to help customers find the right solutions for their construction and renovation needs.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to maximise revenue.
- Collaborate with the wider sales team on effective sales strategies.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries and a seamless customer experience.
- Use CRM software to manage customer interactions, track activities and generate sales reports.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, new products and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and follow-up actions.
Skills & Experience
- Proven field sales experience, ideally in construction, hardware, timber or building materials.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to work effectively in a field-based role.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong administrative and CRM skills.
- Excellent organisation, coordination and attention to detail.
- Quick learner with a strong focus on targets and results.
- Full, clean driving licence required.
