POSITION: Electrical Estimator
LOCATION: Dublin/Kildare
SALARY: Negotiable DOE
Are you a skilled Electrical Estimator looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment?
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in helping our company accurately estimate the costs of electrical projects. In this position, you will collaborate with clients, contractors, and architects to determine project requirements, evaluate the scope of work, and provide accurate cost estimates.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop accurate electrical estimates
- Collaborate with project teams to determine the scope of work, anticipated labor, and materials
- Prepare comprehensive electrical estimates, including labor, material, and equipment costs
- Review and analyze bid documents, including RFPs, RFQs, and tenders
- Attend site visits and gather project information to ensure accurate estimation
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes for services and materials
- Maintain detailed records of estimating activities and related documents
- Review and analyze historical data to refine estimate accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in electrical codes and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical estimating software
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
