Description

Our client has established a reputation as the global leader in agricultural bale wrapping machinery is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Dispatch Operative to join the team. This role is a key part of our manufacturing process, and the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, team driven environment.

Previous experience in the manufacturing Industry Is essential to the successful execution of this role.

You will work closely with our warehouse operations manager to help ensure the smooth movement of goods from production and preparation of goods ready for dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Prepare goods for dispatch in line with shipping requirements.
• Inspect the quality of product and ensure goods are safely packed in preparation for shipments.
• Reject products that fail quality standards and liaise with the warehouse operations manager on quality issues to ensure that these are dealt with prior to shipments.
• Loading and unloading of trucks where applicable and in line with safety guidelines.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met at all times.

Skillset

• A minimum of 1/2years manufacturing and/or logistic experience preferrable
• A valid fork-lift licence preferrable
• Excellent communication skills

You will be required to work closely with the other members of staff in the warehouse operations area and provide support where necessary.
