Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings for windows and doors based on architectural designs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to determine project requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes and regulations.
- Select appropriate materials and products that enhance the design and functionality.
- Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and take measurements.
- Provide technical support to team members and clients regarding window and door systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards related to windows and doors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in window and door design or construction is an asset.
