At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Yard Operative to join our client’s growing team in Carlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Software Design Engineer to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
What’s on Offer:
- €14.50 - €15.50 per hour
- Ensuring that the warehouse and yard are always kept tidy, and that stock is clearly identifiable.
- Picking, packing, and loading of trucks and customer vehicles using forklifts, in a safe and timely manner
- Serving customers in the warehouse/yard area and building strong working relationships with them to understand their requirements.
- Liaising with the shop staff to help fulfil incoming orders.
- Monitoring security to safeguard against theft of goods or company property
Experience you need:
- Previous experience with a Builder’s Providers, while not a must, is preferred.
- Experience working in a warehouse or builders’ merchants
- Must be extremely customer focused, and results driven
- Full clean valid driver’s license and forklift license
- Full C license is beneficial but not essential
