About the Role
We are currently seeking a Junior Dental Nurse to join a friendly and professional dental practice. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in dentistry and looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive clinical environment. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
- Ensuring high standards of infection control and hygiene
- Supporting patient care and helping patients feel comfortable
- Managing clinical stock and materials
- Maintaining accurate patient and treatment records
- Supporting reception duties when required
- Interest in pursuing a career in dental nursing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Enrolment in or intention to enrol in a recognised Dental Nursing course
- Previous healthcare, customer service, or clinical experience
- On-the-job training and mentoring
- Support with Dental Nursing qualification
