Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all finishing trades to deliver works safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards
- Supervise subcontractors and labour, ensuring efficient sequencing and productivity of finishing activities
- Implement and manage daily and weekly programmes in line with the overall project schedule
- Liaise closely with the Site Manager and subcontractors to maintain smooth site operations and coordination
- Inspect finishing works to ensure compliance with project specifications, Building Standards and the Quality Management System
- Identify, manage and close out defects promptly
- Promote and enforce high standards of health and safety, maintaining accurate H&S records
- Order and monitor materials to ensure continuity of works and avoid delays
- Control plant, labour returns and site resources efficiently
- Maintain a daily site diary recording progress, manpower and key site activities
- Attend site briefings and meetings as required, reporting on progress and issues
What You’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a senior finishing supervisory role within the construction industry
- Strong technical knowledge of finishing trades, materials, and construction standards
- Ability to read, interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with a high level of attention to detail
- Capable of working under pressure and managing competing priorities to meet programme deadlines
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, a related field or a trade background are desirable
