Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initial planning through to final completion, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate, administer, and oversee supplier and subcontractor contracts.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
  • Track project progress, proactively manage risks, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain strict cost control and provide accurate financial reporting aligned with project budgets.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to showcase and expand companies products and services, demonstrating strong commercial awareness.
  • Represent the company professionally, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development by working closely with the sales and operations teams.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or comparable project management role, ideally within the construction or automation sectors.
  • Sound knowledge of automatic door systems, including speed lanes, revolving and sliding doors, and access control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage:
    • Daily allocation and coordination of installation teams.
    • Technical documentation, safety compliance, fault diagnosis, and approval processes.
    • Multiple concurrent projects, including invoicing, stock control, and distribution logistics.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to overcome challenges effectively.
  • Confident leadership and sound decision-making abilities.
