The Job
Our Client is looking for an Experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities with maintaining HVAC equipment and installing new AC units, building strong client relationships, and promoting HVAC solutions and services. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to meet revenue targets and expand market share.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the HVAC sector (new installation and maintenance in commercial and industrial ).
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, contractors, and facility managers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Stay up to date with HVAC technologies, trends, and competitor offerings.
- Provide feedback to product and service teams to improve offerings based on market demand.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to align business development efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems.
- Report regularly on performance metrics and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC sales or business development (typically 5+ years).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and applications.
- Experience working with B2B clients, especially in construction, facilities management, or engineering sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Technical qualification in Building service Engineering or HVAC-related field.
- Membership in industry bodies (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE).
