Role: Accounts Payable / Payroll Assistant (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Bagenalstown, Carlow
Salary: €30k (Neg)
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable / Payroll Assistant our client - a road mobility technology company, with over 168,000 entrepreneurial minded employees and more than 60 years of experience.
Accounts Payable / Payroll Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter purchase invoices on receipt, matching to purchase orders and delivery documents.
Resolve any queries on invoices with suppliers and purchasing team.
Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
Prepare all payments including monthly payment runs.
Other miscellaneous duties and reconciliations as required.
Accountants Payable / Payroll Requirements:
Accounting Technician / IPASS Qualification desirable.
Keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to demonstrate good work practices including attendance, timekeeping, tidiness, safety awareness, quality awareness, responsibility and a willingness to learn.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office package, in particular, Microsoft Excel.
English language fluency, both written and spoken.
Accounts Payable / Payroll Additional Information:
Must be eligible and willing to work the hours of a permanent day shift;
Day Shift: 8am to 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm (Fridays).
Flexibility of duties and working hours will be required during busy periods.
Must hold valid passport as overnight/overseas travel may be required to off-site.
