At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for our client based in North Dublin. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to make an impact in an innovative and growing organisation

- Managing costs on a variety of curtain wall & glazing projects.
- Early involvement in projects, liaising and providing advice to the tendering team.
- Checking contract terms and conditions and negotiating acceptable terms with clients.
- Preparing early-stage budgets, cost plans and cashflow and performing risk, value management and cost control
- Allocating work packages to sub-contractors and sub-contract procurement including preparation of contract documents.
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks and negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded
- An appropriate level of qualification e.g., a degree in quantity surveying or similar.
- 3-5 years in a similar role
- Software experience MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Buildsoft, CostX, Bluebeam.
- People management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator with enthusiasm and drive
- Knowledge & Experience of curtain walling / commercial window industry preferable
