- Preparing vehicle surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer as needed.
- Mixing and matching paint to achieve desired colours and finishes, ensuring consistency in application.
- Utilising spray guns, compressors, and other equipment to apply paint evenly and professionally.
- Inspecting completed work to assess quality and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the spray booth and painting area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Following safety guidelines and protocols while handling paints, solvents, and equipment.
- Proven experience as a vehicle spray painter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques.
- Ability to use spray guns and other painting equipment proficiently.
- Familiarity with surface preparation, sanding, and refinishing methods.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols in the workplace.
