At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Tool Repair Technician to join our client’s growing team based in Rathcoole. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Handyman with experience in Tool Repairs to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
What’s on Offer:
- €35,000 - €45,000 salary depending on experience
- Diagnosing and repairing hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, including but not limited to Black and Decker tools.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections of tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Keeping detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Using a variety of tools and equipment to test functionality and safety of repaired items.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on proper tool usage and maintenance practices to avoid any safety hazards.
- Proven experience in tool repair or maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Familiarity with electric, mechanical and/or hydraulic tools and their repair techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
