Our Client, a leading manufacturer currently has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join their team as Supply Chain Lead.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating our clients’ shipments and deliveries while dealing with any queries/issues which may arise due to delays etc.
- Corresponding and updating customers/ logistics provider and suppliers daily.
- Preparation of all commercial invoicing and packaging slips for all our customers.
- Coordinating shipments and deliveries with the Store personnel & APL Driver.
- Weekly internal communications circulated reference orders, inventory status and details of deliver schedule for following week.
- Attend weekly client meetings where required. Always be punctual and prepared to provide updates.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Arrange collection and delivery of all Raw material and packaging.
- Ordering of packaging.
- Ensure strong communication on material supply status with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate shipping and customs clearances activities as required.
- Ensure Certificates of Conformance are aligned to requirements and correct records retained.
- Booking in of all materials and packaging onto ERP IQMS & ensuring FRM:138 is Data entry and export from the company ERP IQMS.
- Maintain all relevant supply chain records as required.
- Ensure APL Truck driver card and tachograph is kept up to date.
- Virtual line clearance must be completed & signed off on line clearance form.
- Coordinating weekly stock checks with the Store personnel & Material Handler.
- Ensure stock levels are correctly reflected in the company’s ERP IQMS.
- Email provided weekly to the Finical Controller, Operations Manager & Production Manager with stock checks. No changes to be made to ERP system until approved from the above.
- Client stock checks to be completed on request from customer.
- Coordinate ad-hoc shipping and customs clearances activities as required.
- Liaise and provide support with upcoming audits, as and when required.
- Proactive Lean participation to assist with cost savings and drive efficiencies in line with APL’s Lean Journey.
- Provide cover for leave within the Materials, Administration & Shipping departments, as and when required.
- To strictly comply to all approved procedures within the APL Quality Management System.
- Actively participate in Lean initiatives & proactively help with continuous improvement.
- Ensures that the Environmental Management System is established, implemented, maintained and continually improved across the site in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.
- Ensure all transport companies have signed a transport agreement.
- Internal audits and Quality Spot Checks.
