Position Title: Senior Sales Representative
Location: Ennis Co Clare
Reports To: Sales Manager
Position Purpose:
Solar PV Systems
- Market Sectors:
- Engage with potential clients in residential, commercial, farms, hospitality and schools.
- Make introductory calls to private businesses to initiate relationships and explore sales opportunities.
- Sales and Client Interaction:
- Contact prospective clients and arrange visits to explain system functionality and benefits.
- Address client questions and provide clear and comprehensive guidance throughout the sales process.
- Conduct detailed surveys using the company app, including roof measurements, fuse board locations, and preferred areas for battery/inverter installations.
- Proposal and Quotation Development:
- Use Helioscope Solar PV design software to create detailed reports on expected annual energy generation and panel placement.
- Prepare and issue quotes and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Follow up with clients to address questions, secure agreements, and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Post-Installation Support:
- Relay survey information to the installation team to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm client satisfaction, request referrals (e.g., Google reviews), and collect final payments.
- Events and Exposure:
- Attend industry events, expos, and company initiatives to promote services and generate leads.
- Promote and sell EV charging solutions for domestic and commercial clients.
- Guide customers through product options and provide personalized recommendations based on their needs.
- Engage with domestic, business, and farm clients to promote battery storage solutions.
- Explain benefits and integrate battery storage offerings into Solar PV system proposals.
- Sales Expertise: Proven experience in sales, preferably in renewable energy or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with Solar PV systems, EV charging, and battery storage solutions. Training will be provided.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a customer-friendly manner.
- Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple clients, surveys, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using design software such as Helioscope (or willingness to learn).
- Customer-Focused Approach: Commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.
- Adaptability: Willingness to attend training sessions and stay updated on industry advancements.
