About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant with proven experience using Sage accounting software to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day finance operations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable
- Sales invoicing & credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Provide cover for other areas in the department
- Assisting with day to day finance activities and general ad hoc duties as they arise
Key Requirements
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Work well both in a team and under one’s own initiative.
- Attention to detail & ability to cope with a fast paced working environment.
- Flexible and willing to work to meet deadlines.
- 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong IT skills including Sage 50 Accounts, Microsoft Excel, Access, Word & Outlook
