- Supervising all facets of production facility performance to optimize efficiency and labour utilization.
- Creating and managing of all production-related data, including information on downtime, waste, process sheets, non-conformances, and on-hold logs, with appropriate handling as needed.
- Consistently upholding compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards as dictated by the company, customers, and relevant legal requirements.
- Leading daily production meetings, convening with area supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality assurance team, and material supply
- Overseeing attendance, punctuality, annual leave.
- Conducting employee appraisals and probationary performance reviews as well as ongoing performance management
- 5+ years’ experience leading a team in a similar role, ideally in cold room environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Lead team-based problem solving
- Enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, can-do attitude
- Must be a leader who can encourage others to take ownership and responsibility.
