Position: Accounts Assistant

Salary : €28,000- €36,000 - (Depending on experience)

Location: Co. Cavan

Monday- Friday

Responsibilities

• Dealing effectively with day to day queries from clients and management alike in relation to accounts.
• Collecting timesheet data for payroll and processing wages in a timely manner
• Processing Purchase invoices, in line with Purchase Orders and ensuring Creditor Statements are reconciled at month end.
• Issuing monthly Debtors statements and collecting of monies due.
• Month end reconciliations - Debtors/Creditors and Bank reconciliations.

Skills required

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts software and Sage payroll would be an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a busy office environment and plan work accordingly
• Good telephone manner and communication skills
• Ability to work and contribute as part of a team and also work on own initiative.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service manner
