We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our clients friendly property management services team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring their team operate smoothly and efficiently. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, from performing routine maintenance checks to addressing more complex repair issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on facilities to ensure proper operation
- Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and prioritise tasks effectively
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist with the setup and takedown of events and meetings
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
