Your new role includes:
- Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate the execution of bus stop contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Daily interaction with NTA project manager and participation in weekly contract team meetings.
- Operations Management: Program and schedule works across multiple daily sites, coordinating with site teams and subcontractors.
- Public Realm Expertise: Experience in dealing with local authorities, utilities, Traffic Management (TM), Road Opening Licenses (ROLs), and other relevant entities.
- Engineering Coordination: Collaborate with Civil Engineering consultants for site surveys and drafting of construction drawings.
- Commercial Oversight: Liaise with Quantity Surveyors (QS) on project finances, including valuations and cost control.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project for reporting, documentation, and scheduling.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Oversee all aspects of health and safety compliance throughout the contract duration.
- Team Management: Lead and delegate responsibilities to site foremen, administration staff, QS, and skilled workers to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Budget and Timeline Adherence: Ensure projects are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
- Documentation: Compile and maintain comprehensive safety folders and project documentation.
Experience you need:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure projects, preferably within the public realm.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in project management and health & safety (e.g., PMP, NEBOSH) are advantageous.
