Position: Management Accountant - Manufacturing

Location: Kilkenny/Tipperary

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including analysing and investigating variances
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets
• Strong Cash flow management
• Overseeing the Payroll process
• Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Stock control - support for the warehouse team in relation to stock figures/valuations
• Communicate with and advice factory management to understand and optimize the financial performance of the factory
• Statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors
• Inter-company reconciliations
• Continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems development projects
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and experience using various accounting software packages
• Good understanding of cost allocation and product costing
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3-4 year's PQE
• You will have experience working in a similar role within manufacturing
• Aptitude to learn, willingness to progress and ability to assume responsibility
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with senior management
