Job description
Our clients are dedicated to looking after their customers and providing the best service possible.
They are looking for an energetic, experienced and driven individual to come and join our commercial team in supporting our business and customers by generating customer quotations, taking and placing orders and ensure our customers’ needs are met.
The ideal candidate will have experience with pipes, valves and fittings.
Key Objectives
- To ensure that specific requests from customers directly or indirectly are responded to in professional and timely fashion.
- Processing and management of customer quotations and orders.
- Keep the pipeline of quotes up to date
- Develop a deep understanding of potential client’s business requirements and tailor solutions to meet these requirements.
- Build and develop key customers and a project pipeline ensuring sustainable and consistent sales growth.
- Work collaboratively with all internal resources to meet and exceed our customer’s requirements.
- Regular courtesy and sales calls to both new and existing customers
- To ensure continuous improvement
- Good PC skills are a must especially a knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Ability to work in a team.
- Customer Service / commercial environment experience an advantage.
