At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Food Production Supervisor to join our client’s growing team based near Athenry, Co. Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor in the Food Industry to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
Your new role includes:
- Managing and coordinating the production team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Developing and implementing production schedules and adjusting resources to meet daily requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, and BRC standards.
- Being Responsible for leading, coaching and supporting production teams
- Reporting regularly to management, generating production reports and metrics.
- Liaising with all departments in the factory to ensure smooth operations.
- Previous 3-5 years’ experience as Production Manager in the food or FMGG industry.
- Experience with production planning and reporting tools.
- Strong previous knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards.
- Experience with lean manufacturing desirable
- Qualification in Food Science, Engineering or Operations Management desirable.
