Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams in the planning and execution of construction projects.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project goals and deliverables.
- Oversee and review engineering designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance.
- Implement best practices for project management and engineering processes to optimize efficiency.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the steel industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management techniques, and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards in construction.
- Ability to solve complex problems creatively and proactively manage risks in projects.
