To manage and develop the trade accounts in Connaught and The Midlands in order to maximize the distribution of our three brands. Enhance the reputation and standing of the company in your area by building strong customer relationships, providing exceptional sales support, category expertise and ongoing education.

The Role

Sales
  • Ensure the overall sales plans for the area is achieved or exceeded
  • Increase the number of active CRM, FE & CDM accounts in the area
  • Introduce and secure distribution for new product lines
  • Achieve maximum presence and positioning of our products in each outlet
  • Work closely with the marketing department to run promotions and campaigns aimed at developing sales of the three brands.
 Service
  • Solve problems for customers and deal with enquiries and complaints as they arise.
  • Work closely with the Direct Sales Team to identify and support indirect customers that are supplied by trade outlets.
  • Educate customers both trade & indirect through product training, open days and customer events.
  • Implement and manage in-store promotions and engage in merchandising and deployment of marketing materials.
Planning
  • Ensure regular contact with decision makers via personal visits and phone calls
  • Plan and implement an effective call cycle
  • Maintain a forward planning calendar at least 1 week in advance
Reporting
  • Become competent and proficient in the use of Maximizer Customer Relationship Management system and use it to report on call activities, complaints, and customer requirements
  • Provide feedback to marketing, technical and management on market trends, customer issues, competitor activity and general business intelligence
  • Analyse sales figures and use them to create reports on the success or otherwise of promotions and campaigns
  • Become proficient in presenting sales reports to management at sales meetings
Account Management
  • Ensure that invoices are paid on time and assist the finance department with account collection
The role is home based and brings an attractive remuneration package including competitive salary, company car, pension, and opportunity to earn a bonus.  Initial and ongoing training and support will be given, and the successful candidate will join a dynamic, established team who will be there to support and help as required.  The area includes the counties of Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Offaly, Westmeath and Longford.
