Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Van Sales Representative to join our team, supplying HVAC products to trade merchants. This role combines sales, delivery, and relationship management, offering a dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while building strong customer connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchant customers
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your designated territory
- Promote and sell a range of HVAC products, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning supplies
- Provide product knowledge, advice, and solutions tailored to customer needs
- Van Operations & Deliveries
- Load, transport, and deliver products safely and efficiently to customers
- Ensure the van is well-stocked with high-demand items to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
- Stock & Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels in the van and replenish as required
- Manage returns and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock movements
- Administration & Reporting
- Process orders, invoices, and payments accurately
- Keep records of sales activity, customer visits, and new business leads
- Provide regular feedback on market trends and customer requirements
- Previous experience in a sales or van sales role (preferably within HVAC, plumbing, or building supplies)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products (desirable but not essential—training can be provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Full, clean driving licence
