At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Store Assistant to join our client’s growing team based in Carlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Assistant with experience in DIY and Hardware to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

- Assisting customers & other colleagues on the shop floor with a friendly and helpful demeaner
- Merchandising products in-store, ensuring the sales floor is kept clean, tidy and safe.
- Operating the cash register, handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Unloading of stock/deliveries.
- Supporting promotional activities and special store events to drive sales.
- You may be required to under-take other duties from time to time to support in other areas of our store
- Must be fully-flexible
- Passionate about working with teams in a retail environment
- Previous experience with DIY/ hardware products is a distinct advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
