- Assisting the Steel Yard Supervisor in managing daily steel yard operations to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
- Loading and unloading of steel materials using forklifts and cranes.
- Organising and maintaining inventory to ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of yard personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Overseeing inventory control by tracking steel stock levels and organizing material storage efficiently.
- Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of steel materials.
- Proven experience in steel yard operations
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
