Position: Specification Sales Consultant

Location: Dublin 12

The Job:

To generate business through selling product offer to architects and contractors

Responsibilities:

• Prospect for new projects and Specifiers/Contractors using Glenigan/CIS leads, personal contacts and registered CPD's
• Maintain and update HBS approved CPD's with RIAI and Engineers Ireland
• Undertake project related presentations to Specifiers/Contractors/façade consultants and industry influencers
• Create and deliver industry events in support of our growth and visibility ambitions
• Devise and present specifications and other documentation to Specifiers/Contractors
• Fabricator selection for specific projects and liaison regarding progress of tenders/quotes
• Value engineer system solution with technical team to secure projects for HBS
• Ensure product offer for each project is correct prior to commencement of manufacture
• Assist fabricators and Specifiers/Contractors with queries during and post contract
• Undertake and compile CPD and other general presentations to Specifiers/Contractors
• Maintain market intelligence and contribute to strategic direction and product development
• Maintain personal and company project databases and filing systems including Salesforce CRM
• Liaise with Solution Sales Team as appropriate
• Build relationships with fabricators as required
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Management

Requirements:

• Preferably Civil Engineer Construction
• Must have a strong network of contacts with Architects
• Preferably few years of experience of dealing with architects.
• Excellent construction skills
• MS office
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strategic insight
