Your new role includes:
- Oversee operations on a day to day basis while monitoring and tracking progress
- Inspect works in progress and completed work, to make sure it complies with project specifications
- Ensure work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirements
- Ensure Quality standards are maintained at all times.
- Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers
- Keep in close contact with members of the site team at all times
- Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner
- Ensure all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner
- Requisition of materials
- Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to management
- Attending daily briefings, Record Daily site activities (daily log)
- Monitor / raise and track variations on site in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager
Experience you need:
- 3rd level qualification or trade background with relevant experience
- Excellent organisation & time management skills
- Proven track record of working to strict timescales, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent client facing skills
- Thorough knowledge of building practices
- Experience of managing large scale projects would be an advantage
