Description
Service coordinator responsibilities include: Answering incoming calls/e-mails, booking and allocating jobs to technicians which included scheduled service jobs and breakdowns. Working with customers, service technicians, and sales to ensure customer success and operational efficiency.
- Cover service inbox of calls placed by customers by e-mail or phone
- Be point of Contact with customers and service technicians to gather as much information as possible re service issue
- Efficient route planning of the area’s engineers using the available software to maximize efficiency and reduce travel time
- Schedule labour in geographic areas – reactive calls and Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Administration regarding customer specific subjects -using customer portals where required.
- Follow up all service calls to close off or prepare Quotations for further work to be carried out
- Contact with suppliers -Spare Parts Ordering -dealing with suppliers to obtain pricing of parts and estimated delivery dates
- Liaise with Warehouse Operator regarding spare parts availability and having spare-parts ready and available in advance of Engineers visiting customer sites
- Other service-related tasks
- Part of Out of Hours On-Call Service Escalation Team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dealing with difficult customer will be required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Works well under pressure
- Good geographic knowledge of Ireland
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
