Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Athlone - Clare

Salary: Competitive salary and package on offer

Our client, a leading family-owned Main Contractor, with projects across Ireland which include Pharma, Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Residential and Heritage to name a few, are now looking to recruit Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their team for projects in Athlone and Clare.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Interim and Final Accounts for Projects in accordance with the Contract requirements.
• Review of subcontractor and supplier quotes received for compliance with the Contract documents.
• Liaising and co-ordination with the Project Team where necessary.
• Carrying out site visits and attending Project meetings.
• Monthly Valuations, Final Accounts etc.
• Assisting with the Preparation of Bills of quantities and pricing of bills of quantities where necessary on tenders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience working with a Main Building Contractor in Ireland or UK.
• Strong knowledge of the various forms of contracts such as RIAI, FIDIC and JCT.
• Excellent numeracy and report writing skills.
• Process oriented & strong attention to detail
