At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s growing team based in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization within the Roofing industry.

- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Monitoring ongoing project costs and providing regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate potential roofing project costs and risks.
- Preparing tender documentation, including bills of quantities, scope of work, and contractor selection criteria.
- Coordinating and collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors throughout all project phases.
- Identifying and assessing potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Reviewing and validating contractor claims and payment requests to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with experience in roofing and cladding preferable.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for cost estimation and financial reporting.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
