Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils

Locations: South Dublin - Office based with travel to sites as required

Salary: Competitive salary on offer with company vehicle

Our client a leading Civil Engineering Company, who deliver high quality civil projects across Ireland, are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This role will report to the Commercial Manager and Director.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all contracts entered into have terms and conditions that are appropriate, with commercial risks identified.
• Effectively assist in managing the commercial team, including cost clerks and commercial support staff
• Ensure robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level.
• Update the monthly CVR, cost, and commercial plans and have accountability, along with the project team for the commercial performance and strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or the equivalent.
• 6+ years' experience in a similar role within the Civil Engineering Industry in Ireland or UK.
• Prior experience in liaising with Local Authorities, County Councils etc.
• Full Irish/UK driving licence is required as this role will involve travel to different sites.
