Position: Sales Administrator - Construction

Location: Dublin South

Salary: Negotiable DOE

The Person:

This role has the overall responsibility for the back-office Sales Support for the Dublin Office Sales Team. This is a wide and varied role that takes in all aspects of supporting the external and internal sales team's administratively to include, but not confined to, sales support administration, sales team meeting co-ordination, sales team training co-ordination, market intelligence gathering, Architect and customer co-ordination, administrative support to the Sales Manager/Director, Project co-ordination, CRM Super User and Admin Owner, "First Contact" for all quotation and tender requests received from customers, One champion on all projects for the Sales Team, Sales Floor administration and management, Architect and CPD coordinator and all aspects that are required to support the Sales Team.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all incoming Sales enquiries into the Head office (by phone, e-mail, website enquiries, etc.) daily
  • Ensure that all quotations and tenders that are received into the company are sent out to the customer in the agreed timeframe and are accurate in our reply.
  • Ensure quotes are not inputted onto the CRM system until all vital information is provided i.e. Contractor details, architect details, source of specification, etc.
  • Review project status and specific customers' requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
  • Suggest sales process improvements
  • Input data into Maximizer, logging opportunities, creating accounts contacts, keeping information and opportunities in Maximizer up to date
  • Provide training and assistance to all of the Sales team in the effective and efficient use of Maximizer
  • Assist in the monitoring of sales performance indicators
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
  • Keep record of sales trends
  • Attend all sales meetings and take minutes. Ensure that these minutes are circulated in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report on source lead information such as CIS. Circulate this information to the sales team as appropriate ensuring that all products are spec'ed where appropriate
  • Maintain a working list of active contractors, architects, electrical contractors etc and work with the sales team to actively target inactive targets as required
  • Work with Key Account Managers to maintain a rolling list of active sites that are planned and current for our target Key Accounts.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Customer service focused
  • Leadership skills and effective communicator
  • Able to work under own initiative and well as being part of a team
  • High level of flexibility and dependability
