Position: Project Quantity Surveyor & Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Galway

Our client, a leading Main Contractor, with projects across Ireland which include Pharma, Healthcare, Commercial, Education, and Residential are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor & Senior QS to join their growing team in Galway.

Main Responsibilities:

• Undertaking cost analysis of subcontractor packages.
• Performing risk, value management and cost control
• Responsible for all aspects of cost management on projects.
• Preparing tender and contract documentation.
• Preparing payment certificates in accordance with company systems and procedures.
• Management of the change control process.
• Liaising with client and design team.
• Appointing and managing subcontractors and suppliers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or the equivalent.
• Chartership or working towards same is preferred but not essential.
• 3+ years' experience for Project QS and 6+ years' experience for Senior QS, with a Main Contractor in Ireland or UK.
• Strong experience in preparing valuations, variation management, CVR reporting, payment certificates etc.
