At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Junior Project Manager to join our client’s growing team-based in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate or a person looking to progress in their career within the construction industry in an innovative and growing organisation.
Your new role includes:
- Assist senior project managers in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
- Monitor project schedules and update task progress to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Support onsite project inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, contracts, and meeting minutes.
- Track project budgets and expenses to assist in financial control and reporting.
- Help identify and resolve issues or delays that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning and problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
- A strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well with diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the construction project management field.
- Full clean Irish driving licence
