Position: Joinery Workshop Manager

Location: Dublin

Our client, a leading family run Shopfitting Company, with over 30 years' experience in the industry, are now looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join their team.

This role will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the joinery workshop.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all works are completed on budget, on time and completed to the highest quality standards.
• Support and implement practices that ensure Health and Safety legislation is being met and best practice is being adhered to.
• Effectively communicate tasks and requirements to an assigned team of workshop staff.
• Monitor employees' performance, coach and mentor members of the team offering regular feedback to employees on performance including the Joinery Manager and Production Manager as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualification in Joinery is essential.
• Previous experience in a Supervisory/Management role
• Good technical understanding and relevant practical skills
• Able to use this understanding to question instructions.
• Strong people management skills, communication skills
• Ability to builds relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Willing to take the initiative to resolve a problem.
