Job Title: Internal Sales Coordinator – Building Products
Location: Co. Meath
Reports To: Branch Manager

Role Overview
The Internal Sales Coordinator is responsible for delivering efficient, customer-focused support within the internal sales function. The role ensures accurate administration, exceptional customer service, and compliance with company policies, as well as Health & Safety and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities


  • Generating new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and email campaigns.
  • Identifying customer purchasing trends and developing strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Managing daily internal sales administration activities.
  • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all administrative tasks, including invoicing, credit notes, filing, scanning, and general office duties, are completed accurately and maintained up to date.
  • Supporting the sales team with quotations, pricing enquiries, and customer data analysis.
  • Maintaining and updating price lists and product catalogues as required.
  • Coordinating with procurement, transport, and warehouse teams to ensure the efficient fulfilment of customer orders.
  • Processing and reconciling cash sale accounts in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assisting in monitoring performance and achieving internal sales targets.
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements relevant to the position.
  • Providing support to the Trade Counter when required.

Skills & Qualifications



  • Proven experience in customer service and/or sales administration, preferably within the construction products or building materials industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service or sales office environment.
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles and administrative best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A self-motivated approach with a commitment to achieving results and developing new skills.
  • A strong customer focus and dedication to delivering a high standard of service.
