At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Health and Safety Manager to join our client’s growing team based in Wexford. This is a fantastic Hybrid opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:
- Developing, maintaining, and protecting health and safety standards and company policies in accordance with current health and safety legislation
- Conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and consider how risks could be reduced
- Conducting regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented working closely with the site operations teams.
- Conducting Mandatory Safety Training with company personnel and maintain Safety Training Matrix.
- Producing management reports, newsletters and to maintain communication and understanding of H & S expectations and standards
- Ensuring that construction/refurbishment/contract transition projects, including implementation of new equipment and processes are planned, directed, and monitored from a safety perspective
Experience you need:
- 3rd level qualification in technical / science, diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety
- 5 + years' experience in a similar Industry (Multi-site, wide range, and variety of operations in the Agri/Retail Industry
- Thorough knowledge of current health and safety legislation
- Flexibility in working patterns where necessary
- Full licence, as the role will require visits to different company sites
