Our Client are excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented Lagger to their dynamic construction team. As a Lagger, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and safety of various construction projects by applying insulation materials to pipes, ducts, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or mineral wool to pipes, ducts, and mechanical systems.
  • Apply lagging to maintain temperature control and prevent condensation, corrosion, and energy loss.
  • Inspect surfaces and prepare materials for insulation installation according to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure insulation meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain and organize tools and equipment necessary for lagging tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment on-site.
  • Document work progress and report any issues or challenges to the site supervisor.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a lagger or in insulation installation.
  • Experience installing fire-rated insulation to fire-rated ductwork.
  • Experience installing Class O insulation to standard ductwork.
  • Familiarity with different types of insulation materials and their applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines related to insulation work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
