Your new role includes:
- Develop innovative facade designs that align with architectural concepts and client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform detailed analysis of materials and structural components to ensure facade performance and durability.
- Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
- Conduct site visits to assess installation progress and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Support cost estimation, value engineering, and selection of facade systems and materials.
- A manufacturing design background is beneficial
- Proven experience in facade design for commercial and residential buildings.
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of material science and structural principles related to building envelopes.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Good understanding of local and international building codes and sustainability certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
