Your new role includes:
- Lead the design and development of facade window and door systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants throughout project phases.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop innovative and sustainable facade solutions tailored to specific project needs.
- Oversee preparation and review of detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis for different materials and design options.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory compliance including local building codes.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials and components for facade systems.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases to resolve design-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by integrating new technologies and materials into product designs.
Experience you need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field with focus on facade design.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facade design management, specifically with windows and doors.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to facade systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- In-depth understanding of structural principles, thermal performance, and material properties for building envelopes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and knowledge of green building certifications is a plus.
