At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Delivery Driver with a valid C License to join our client’s growing team based near the Carlow/ Wicklow border. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Rigid Truck Delivery Driver to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
What’s on Offer:
- €19.50 per hour
- 7am to 3:30pm (40-45 hours)
- Monday to Friday
- Operating company rigid trucks safely and efficiently
- Picking up the loaded truck and then offloading the goods upon reaching the site
- Planning and following the most efficient routes for deliveries to meet deadlines.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Maintaining delivery logs and paperwork accurately and submitting reports as required.
- Valid C License with a clean driving record is essential
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and furniture safely and efficiently.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
