Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules to guide the project team.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
- Monitor and track project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed on project status and issues.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar construction management role in Ireland.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership qualities and team management experience.
- Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
- Experience managing budgets and financial aspects of projects.
- Full driving licence
