This position requires a strong understanding of technical drawing standards, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in various CAD software, a solid technical background, and the capability to interpret complex design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software to support engineering and architectural projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Modify and revise existing drawings based on feedback and project changes.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to company and industry standards, including proper dimensions and annotations.
- Maintain and organise CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Assist in preparing drawings for presentations, client reviews, and construction purposes.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness before project submission.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and software improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar technical drafting role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise and accurate drawings.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Technical background or education in engineering, architecture, or related field.
