Your new role includes:
- Develop approved Architectural Design for production, manufacturing and assembly
- of systems.
- Provide and review design solutions & material order specifications & quantities tailored to production / outsourcing capabilities.
- Participate and contribute to the mobilisation of projects and support the Design Manager or Design Lead, attending meetings as required.
- Place material orders in a complete and timely manner.
- Manage the ordering of materials with the Design Manager/ Design Lead to ensure that all components are included.
- Prepare documentation as required for the factory to enable production to be progressed.
- Create material schedules as may be required to monitor the progress of works.
- Communicate difficulties experienced in the production design process that will affect the programme of works with the Design Manager or Design Lead.
- Assist and train graduates and interns in our methodologies & systems.
Experience you need:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar or comparable role / industry
- Full proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Schueco, Shucal and CAM systems would be advantageous
- Experience of LogiKal would be advantageous
- Ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and inter-departmental teams
- Excellent ability to communicate openly and effectively at all levels (verbal and written)
