At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Apprentice Fitter in 2nd or 3rd year of apprenticeship to join our client’s growing team based in Co. Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice looking to gain experience and to progress their career and make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

- Assisting with fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely
- Performing fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Measuring and preparing materials to required tolerances
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Completing apprenticeship logbooks and trade school requirements
- Must be currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd Year Fitter Apprentice
- Understanding od mechanical fitting principles
- Ability to read engineering and technical drawings
- Welding, machining, or fabrication exposure beneficial
- Previous workshop/ manufacturing/ maintenance experience
